Faria Lima x Tabapuã
The immersive artistic installation in XP's new space is the world's first outdoor LedGlass outside of China.
An installation that combines LedGlass, a large screen with transparency and clarity, kinetic sculpture, and an LED panel. This is the new postcard of Faria Lima, created by Unobvious. A disruptive project developed by bold, unconventional people who are not satisfied with the obvious. It involved months of conception and design, many partners, and several days of installation and testing. The result? A 100% tailor-made project with groundbreaking technology outside of China that will undoubtedly not go unnoticed by those crossing the corner of Tabapuã and Faria Lima.
Technology at the Service of Art
The LedGlass XP at Faria Lima combines the beauty of transparency with the clarity and movement of a high-resolution LED panel. Installed on the façade of the space and custom-made for our project, the XP LED was produced in China by one of the world's largest LED manufacturers. Combined with the kinetic structure inside the space, which consists of over 60 LED tubes that move synchronously, the installation is the most complete embodiment of technology serving art.
URBAN IMPACT
São Paulo is a vibrant city, on par with major global urban centers in terms of culture and art. That’s why, when creating this project, our goal was to go beyond a commercial façade. We wanted to gift São Paulo with a grand piece of open-air art, and from this insight, we invited audiovisual artist Muti Randolph to develop the content for the LedGlass and the kinetic sculpture. A project that leaves a beautiful and impactful legacy for our city.
